Providing Deffinition

Tread Carefully
First let me say that the author had a very valid point about how not being able to look at a word says something about the race issues in this country. He did hit the nail on the head though, when he was talking about context. The way in which one uses a word is almost as important as the word used. Also I do agree that Dr. Laura had a point. There is a lack of consistency as it pertains to the use of this word. A white person could loose his job for using the word, while some rappers make it part of there job by putting it in their lyrics. That said, Dr. Laura should not have been so flippant when when dealing with this sensitive subject. This is something that needs to addressed, but with more care than Dr. Laura gave it.
